The Dear Hunter The Color Spectrum - Complete Collection
Voto:
rece a bit limping but 4 of encouragement, since you decided to take the keyboard back in hand :) indeed from how you describe them they seem interesting, let's see if anyone else knows them to give me an even clearer idea. ps: in any case, don’t worry and write, as over time you improve automatically and besides, the main objective of the site is to highlight interesting releases; not to apply for the Pulitzer Prize et simila!
Eiji Otsuka & Sho-U Tajima MPD - Psycho
Voto:
I read the first five issues of the comic by mooching off a friend of mine (an avid manga reader); but I wasn't particularly impressed by the story. The only thing that stands out is the violence, quite elevated, but for me it’s just violence for the sake of violence, used as a lure for teenagers, always eager for gratuitous gruesomeness (just look at Saw, Hostel, etc...); just the opposite of what the screenwriter says (in a somewhat sly way)... Anyway, speaking of "violent" and shocking manga, back then I was really into Battle Royale, which I find more successful (even though the whole plot and the messages it aims to convey are, in the end, for me merely an excuse to unleash the slaughter).

Thee Oh Sees Carrion Crawler / The Dream

I reaffirm after another couple of listens the excellent impression, in fact it's grown even more for me! The garage that I prefer: very enjoyable but far from obvious and trivial! Moreover, in my opinion, this one is at least a notch above that (still very good) of Mikal Cronin.

With Burial, I'm still at the beginning (by the way, the only dubstep I know), anyway, he's a truly interesting artist, from what I've been able to hear.
Talk Talk Spirit Of Eden

heavenly and ethereal disco, with a slight melancholic vein, but also wonderfully relaxing and rebalancing
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man Out of Season
Voto:
stunning, melancholic, autumnal, reflective, and intimate album... among the best of the 2000s decade.
Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Voto:
one of the best crossover albums, no doubt about it! after Mr. Bungle and FNM with Patton, this album comes next for me. a work that oozes joy, imagination, and creativity from every pore
Incubus Enjoy Incubus

This EP is the perfect link between the great debut "fungus amungus" and that masterpiece that is "SCIENCE"... a band with enormous potential but unfortunately has not given its best; at least, not for long. As the saying goes: the kid has potential but doesn’t apply himself.
