Dude, this album really got to me back then. No way around it. Aside from Young Team, which is beautiful, the other Mogwai albums I listened to [this one, the previous Rock Action, and another one whose name I can't remember] totally bored me...

Maximum respect for the flesh puppets. The second album is among my all-time favorites. I also wildly adore the first, filthy and incompetent album! In my opinion, they won’t reach such heights again after that. Maybe it's just my personal taste, but they have cleaned up a bit too much for my standards after the initial double punch! But I repeat, max respect to the crazy brothers.

I believe Andy Bell has really lost it... oh no, at some point in his life he must have needed dinero, right... Everything adds up! Regarding this "band"... in a better world, the Gallaghers would have been resting in oblivion since at least 2013, along with all the BritPop rabble from '95/'98 (some bands were even worth saving, just not them, the most shamelessly ugly, recycled, plagiarists... but you know, planet Earth isn't a nice place, so the only ones who have survived past their prime in the collective imagination).
