Skunk Anansie Wonderlustre

Skin's voice has always provoked me in the following order: hemorrhoid crisis, impotence, gonorrhea, racist outbursts, and an uncontrollable urge to vote for Lega Nord... in a word, I can't stand her.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre Give It Back!

Look, the works of theirs that I appreciate the most are the ones that are less "Flower Power" (the stunning debut Methodrone and the last two..), this one, while being a good effort, feels a bit too much like a carbon copy of stuff that came out at least 30 years prior to its release. The same goes for the already programmatic title Their Satanic Majesties Second Request, etc.. Anyway, Anton Newcombe has all my respect, the classic madman teetering between genius and absurdity..
Neurosis A Sun That Never Sets
Voto:
The review is beautiful, Neurosis, God forgive me, have never really said much to me.. I’ve seen them live a couple of times as well.
Public Image Limited That What Is Not
Voto:
Excellent review for a really terrible album, in my opinion. I'm sorry, but Metal Box was from another planet.. Rating for the album 1.5..
The Kings Of Frog Island II
Voto:
I have the latest III and it's great, even though there's nothing new under the sun.. I haven't listened to this one..
The Black Angels Phosphene Dream
Voto:
I much preferred the previous Directions to See a Ghost. Nice album, nothing transcendental, very beautiful "Yellow Elevator #2"...
Tricky Mixed Race
Voto:
I haven't listened to it yet, and I don't even feel like it... For me, he died already after Pre-Millennium Tension, which was, in my opinion, his peak.
Sonic Youth Confusion Is Sex
Voto:
@Gustavotanz To be honest, I personally find this and Bad Moon Rising even superior to Daydream Nation (more than excellent, for sure!).
Sonic Youth Confusion Is Sex
Voto:
Do I seem crazy if I consider Confusion Is Sex their masterpiece alongside Bad Moon Rising? These are my two favorite albums by the Sonic..
Massive Attack Heligoland
Voto:
One of the most crushing disappointments is this new album by Massive Attack. I, unlike some in the comments, have actually loved 100th Windows; along with Mezzanine, I find it the pinnacle of the band. Here I only save Atlas Air and little else...
