No, look... being a bit "aged" (I’ve passed 30, let’s say) and having fully experienced the so-called Stoner scene from the beginning, records like this today seem to me nothing more than sometimes good (like in this case) sometimes worse exercises in style that are past their prime. Great bands like Heads, Los Natas, Colour Haze, and others were already doing it, imagine today! The last ones that really said something for this "subgenre" were Acrimony with Tumuli Shroomaroom and the early Karma To Burn. As for the newcomers, apart from Dead Meadow, as mentioned above. Sometimes excellent, sometimes terrible exercises in style. With maximum respect for everyone, of course!
