Fearsome album. I’ll give it 2 stars just out of respect. The masterpieces will come much later (in my opinion, the best are, besides Vulgar, the most "dark" Far Beyond Driven and The Great Southern Trendkill, the most putrid overall of their discography!) I also saw them live, in Pesaro I think, in 2000.

Seen live a couple of times as well. They trip me out properly but they aren't among my favorites. Of them, I liked Erpland more.
Black Flag The Process Of Weeding Out
Voto:
I really liked this little record. Although it has little or nothing to do with the Black Flag everyone knows, I do like it.
Black Lips We Did Not Know The Forest Spirit Made The Flowers Grow
Voto:
A shit album, recorded half-assed, is so bad that it gives me an orgasm. One of the most exciting works of the past decade for me, and my favorite by the Black Lips alongside their self-titled debut. Then in my opinion, the fire kind of faded a bit.

A disk that I should still have somewhere, but I admit, I absolutely don't remember! I'm going to look for it, though... even if the very fact of having it gathering dust for 15 years must have its own reason.

They were nice, until 1997. But that's enough now. Once, I liked them. Since "So Long & Thanks..." I've left them behind.

I saw them at the Independent in 2002, I believe, they played after the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion around 10:30 PM and got a ton of insults, the sound system failed and after 3 or 4 songs they left with their tails between their legs. I was totally wasted by that time, having been there since lunchtime, between Sick of it All, NOFX, and the Blues Explosion (who literally rocked the house). I respect those who love them. I detest them. Always have.
Pearl Jam Vitalogy
Voto:
Mmm I don't know, to me Grunge was just a made-up word. Every band from that "movement" had its own sound. Pearl Jam, I don't know why, have never really impressed me; this is, in fact, the only work of theirs that I've truly enjoyed. De Gustibus, obviously.

I've never really liked them that much, I don't know. This is perhaps my favorite album. I also saw them live on the tour for this work, in England. Great review.

Listened. I don't know, it's nice, but it seems a bit like the usual tune. I repeat, my favorite remains the eponymous debut. And Vol.1_
