They're huge. Period. And this is a masterpiece for me. And not even the only one of these Japanese sickos.. (Absolutego, Amplifier Worship, Heavy Rocks, Dronevil, Akuma No Uta, and Pink in my opinion all deserve a 5)_Basically, I love them. Screw it if I'm not objective.

Never heard of them. Should I dig deeper or put on Come My Fanatics by Electric Wizard for the next bong?
The Beach Boys The Smile Sessions

Better than Pet Sounds, which I never really liked much. The Beach Boys themselves never appealed to me that much. But I found this very beautiful... Plus, the whole story behind it is lovely.

Holy shit. A masterpiece for me. I adored this album. A milestone of Noise in my opinion, on par with albums like Head by the Jesus Lizard, Lovelyville by the Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Confusion Is Sex by the Sonic Youth, etc. etc... In my personal tastes, of course!

Nice little disc... nothing new, but beautifully carefree and lighthearted. Every now and then you need stuff like this.

Great review. I didn't like the album very much. I liked the previous one, Castlemania. I would give this a 2.5..

The reception is good, but the album is beautiful. Perhaps the only truly valid post-Jane's album alongside Good God's Urge by Porno For Pyros, former bandmate Perry Farrell.

Here we go... well. Great album even though I prefer King For a Day by a long shot.

Oh God, is it really that useless? A myth is falling apart. Even though in my opinion it has never surpassed that masterpiece of Whiskey For The Holy Ghost, it has never let me down, neither with Trees (which I saw opening for Alice In Chains, too many years ago now) nor as a solo artist. I'm unsure now whether to listen to it or not...

Wonderful review for what, in my opinion, was Cave's last great work.
