Jad Fair & Daniel Johnston It's Spooky
Voto:
I must admit that I didn’t understand much from this album. A total mess, ungrammatical and frayed. But the real problem is that I go crazy for total chaos. But here... I don't know! I liked something about Half Japanese, for example. I can handle Johnston intermittently. Some albums bring a tear to my eye, while others I would smash to pieces with unbridled rage.
Franco Battiato Fetus
Voto:
The Battiato I like. Great album, though slightly naive at times. The lyrics are some of the most irritating things that could come from a pen, I swear, I've eaten my fair share of cartoons in my life, but it never crossed my mind to chant chemical formulas like he does in this album. Pollution will be better than this. Ah, a curiosity, the Battiato of these early works caught the attention of none other than Frank Zappa, who apparently appreciated it! From 1980 to today, forgive me, I can’t stand him anymore!
The Boo Radleys Everything's Alright Forever

Yes. Beautiful album. It's not entirely true that it sounds exactly like Loveless (another album I love). It's a shame it's the only real great album, in my opinion, by the Radleys, who afterwards will, in my view, mindlessly jump on the Brit Pop bandwagon.

I haven't listened to this, except for a couple of tracks. Their "Perfect From Now On" is still one of the albums of my life!

I own this album, but while I acknowledge its undeniable quality, it doesn't really suit my tastes. I liked a couple of tracks, especially the beautiful "TC and Honeybear," "Sigourney Weaver," and the closing title track. But the rest left me a bit... how should I put it, indifferent! My fault...
John Frusciante Letur-Lefr
Voto:
In my opinion, he made a great album, the first one, Niandra LaDes, when he was shooting up speedballs every half hour. As for the rest, I'll just say it's better left unsaid.

They make me break out in hives. Call me snobbish, but I can't stand these people.
Motorpsycho and Ståle Storløkken The Death Defying Unicorn
Voto:
I didn't listen to it, and honestly, I don't have all that much anxiety about it. I’ll be cruel, but for me, Motorpsycho and their creative spark died with Baroque and still good Let Them Eat Cake, now 12 years ago. I will say, they seemed to be on the road to recovery with Black Hole/Black Canvas, which might have been better as a standalone album. But then, in the following ones, I just couldn't stand them anymore. Just a lot of craftsmanship. But nothing else. And this excessively "Prog" inspiration just doesn't work for me. But it's fair, after spending most of the 90s turning out one masterpiece after another...
