From 3.5/4 - For me, Pollution will be Battiato's best work.

My favorite album by Trees is one of the coolest from the late '80s, yessir.

Nice little disk. But of this kind, my favorites will always be them, Eyehategod.

Naive and beautiful disc.

I repeat, the best things sound like outtakes from Down on the Upside, while the worst and most frequent scraps come from the already disappointing solo work of Cornell. They could have honestly spared us. They had disbanded with great dignity at the right moment… and today I ask myself, WHY??

But, it’s been a while since I last enjoyed these guys. Even though their "Reveille" remains one of my favorite albums from the past decade. I haven't listened to this one, and I don't think I will!

This is a band that has never really meant a damn thing to me except for one album that I moderately liked, the old "Toys In The Attic."
Soundgarden King Animal

The album isn't a total disaster as some say, but it's still mediocre. It would have been better for everyone if they had stayed in their place; everything has its time, and they had their moment back in 1997. "A Thousand Days Before" is a nice track, but not much else stands out amidst the mediocrity of the work. The best things on this album seem like outtakes from Down on the Upside. The worst, most of them, are outtakes from Cornello's solo career. It would have been better to mind their own business anyway... It's not a 1, but a 3 is also too high, so I give it a 3--, average, 2!
