@squall_leonhear: How can I not vote? I vote, I really do! In fact, usually I'm told I'm stingy with my ratings, but this time I scored a nice 5+5!!! Yes, the average is shameful and anyone who voted less than 3 is not being malicious; they simply do not realize (for personal tastes or other entirely respectable reasons) the enormous value of this cartoon. About the directors: perhaps I wrote unclear, sorry; I meant to say that Satou (whom I love) directed the first series and the first part of the second series, Ikuhara (whom I worship) directed the second part of the second series, the third, and the fourth series, and Igarashi (a good professional) directed the fifth series... which means Ikuhara directed most of the entire saga. Do you want to write about Utena too??? _ Oh my, can I ask you a favor... could you leave it for me??? XD It's one of my total cult series, I would love to review it! Besides, duplicates are allowed, so there's no problem... okay, I wrote something stupid, pardon! P.S.: if you’d like, you can listen to a podcast (which I participate in with some other members of my club, Dimensione Fumetto), which we record for an online radio, Radio Incredibile. To listen to it, go to the website Radio Incredibile | Sfanz your Music look for the tag "Dimensione Fumetto" on the left column and listen to our nonsense (I’m Mario).

@Sr4doll: thanks for the info, I didn't know it had already come out. Why hasn't it (yet) arrived here?

Great review, a MASTERPIECE game. I bought it attracted by the cover and it’s still one of my favorite video games. Sure, it’s not based on a very strong and original idea, but it’s so well made that it fully deserves the 5 stars. The author had then dedicated himself to an identical project based this time on "The Wizard of Oz," but it got stalled; I hope that his new video game now focused on the Grimms makes it to shore.

Review from "I agree with everything!", a foundational work for Italian comics that perhaps doesn't deserve a full 5 stars (Pazienza will surely do better), but I don’t intend to ruin this nice average.

I must admit that when I read the typo in the author's name (Naoko Takeuchi, not Naoko Tackeuchi, without the "c" before the "k") and saw the name of the trashy series "Winx Club," I was ready to scream heretical blasphemy, but then I read the review and realized that you, too, squall_leonhear, despise that TRASHY series from the Loreto-based Rainbow (I mean, those little hussies were created in the city of the Sanctuary... a real excommunication situation, I'd say). If, as Tommaso Labranca says, trash is "the failed emulation of a high model," the stupid Winx are the highest level of trash ever reached by an Italian cartoon and perhaps even globally. But let's steer clear of that genius (???) Iginio Straffi and his Rainbow (which is also from the Marche region like me, oh god help) because it's better that way. An endless river of a review, but it couldn't be any other way given the ENORMOUS value of this series. "Sailor Moon" is undoubtedly one of the absolute masterpieces of Japanese serial animation, given the extraordinary avalanche of great ideas it brings with it (not to mention the incredibly high level of loyalty that keeps fans glued to the television to watch every episode). While clearly drawing from typical tokusatsu shows that are so successful in Japan (like the "Power Rangers"), the author had the brilliant idea to create a superhero team composed solely of females, and then when the animated series was made, they had the genius idea to create a female-only tokusatsu not dedicated solely to a female audience, but also and above all to a male one (a choice that was spot on because it created an audience, and thus, a huge success). I agree with EVERY SINGLE WORD of this review because I too have loved, love, and will forever love this cartoon. The only thing I disagree with is that my favorite series is the fourth one, which I believe reaches levels of absolute and true genius in the Amazon Trio (and then in the Amazon Quartet), in the absurd monsters, in the circus cast, in the wonderful music, in the weapons and costumes at the peak of their splendor... everything at the highest levels, in short. As for the rest, it is indeed true that the third series is wonderful: the episodes are absurd beyond belief (my favorite episode of the entire saga is actually in the third series, the one where Marta goes to donate blood to show the villains she's good!!! Here it is: YouTube video non trovato m1lH0yAYd7M) and the antagonists are fantastic, including the GE-NI-US doctor Tomoe (XDDDDDDDDDD). Love, love, and love also from me for Sailor Uranus & Neptune, who are my absolute favorite characters in the cast, and I adore everything they represent, not to mention their stylistic aspects (costumes, music, looks, everything is wonderful). Everything is fantastic, in short. Small correction: Jun'ichi Satou (who is also a great comedy author, like the fantastic OAV "The Magic Club!" or the hilarious series "Keroro") directed the entire first series and then the part of the tree of life in the second series, but Kunihiko Ikuhara (the genius behind "Revolutionary Girl Utena") directed the second part of the second series, the third, and the fourth series, but not the fifth (which I indeed find exaggerated and frankly inferior to the others), which is by Takuya Igarashi ("Nadja Applefields" and "Magical Doremi"). Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I also love this series just like you!!! ;D

Your best review, although I didn't appreciate it too much (BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING EXCEPT A PURE AND SIMPLE PERSONAL JUDGMENT). There continue to be various inaccuracies and debatable comments, but I certainly have to congratulate you on your choice of work because I love Boldini and the period that his sublime art perfectly represented.

Araki is one of the greatest contemporary artists. Perhaps I admire him even more than his actual worth, but I appreciate him so much that he receives all my respect. There is a series of his photos taken between the '80s and '90s that I particularly love: muted colors, a traditional interior with a window overlooking the ultra-technologized night-time Tokyo, and a woman illuminated by the light of the television.
