In my opinion, it's a good album; I've seen them live and they're absolutely solid. The problem is that not all the tracks on the album work as well as the single, but I'm waiting for the next album to give it a solid 4.

@squall_leonhear: "The cover of this album could be the perfect advertisement to promote the magic of Photoshop’s photo retouching!" I totally agree.

Well-written review, more than noteworthy album.

Already in the first sentence, there’s a missing H in the verb "ha" (third person singular of the verb "avere"), and there are other little mistakes scattered throughout the text. Aside from this, though, it’s not a bad review; however, it’s clearly, too clearly the work of a fan who loves the ever-wonderful Mariah even more than her music. I truly loved Carey a lot during the '90s, and I still enjoy listening to her now since she is objectively incredibly talented (from all points of view) and a technically perfect interpreter. However, she no longer has those songs that can elevate her to the altars of musical divinity; it’s probably the fault of her songwriters. The issue is very simple: she was once known by everyone, even the casual listener, while now her songs are only recognized by her fans; this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it is a drop in popularity that, in the world of commercial music, often reflects an artistic decline as well. A very nice album, but inferior to her best works. I hope the positive trend that Mariah Carey is climbing can bring her back to the top very soon.

Thank you all for the comments. @alia76: it’s not that I’m excited about Mila Azuki, it’s just that I see that other things I like that aren’t Japanese are reviewed by people better than me, while the Japanese music scene is more in the shadows, so I focus more on that, that’s all.

"Classical" does not mean "timeless," but rather "that serves as a model." Allevi's music is NOT a model to follow.

@Den Vlaams: look, there are documents regarding the relationship between Berlusconi and the P2, this is not speculation. I quote: “Travaglio spreads indiscriminate accusations, talks about Masonic lodges, mafia, massacres, foreign accounts”; in all this stuff Silvio B. is legally entangled, so Travaglio is not rambling about anything that doesn’t have a legal basis. I don’t have a P2 membership card and thus am not involved, he had the card and is involved: it seems pretty simple to me. Everyone is responsible for their actions: it makes me laugh when he says he is the most persecuted man legally in the world; has he ever considered that MAYBE it’s his fault??? As for his political beliefs, in several television interviews he has stated that he has always been a man of the right and therefore derives no pleasure from not praising his own political side.
