Ah, P.S.: artists "Jean Claude, Madre"?!? The creative mind behind all of this is Marcello Cesena, and we must give him the credit he deserves, no doubt about it!

One of the best comedic productions ever made in Italy, extraordinary. The repetitiveness of the formula allows the actors (all exceptional) to unleash the most improbable gags, and the level of absurdity is so high that it has few comparisons both within the Gialappa's family and in the overall television cabaret landscape. In simple terms, it’s brilliant. I'm sorry that the review doesn't do it enough justice, but it's a bit too... I don't know, stiff, it talks about something else.

Two stars is a bit scarce, come on, especially because it includes two of the best compromises between auteur rock and commercial pop ever written in Italy, namely "Abitudine" and "Incantevole," two truly stunning tracks in every way. The rest of the album suffers from noticeable highs and lows, but it still manages to pass.

@ILM_igliore: you only linked Korean stuff and it is well known that k-pop is garbage filled with gorgeous girls and guys.

The definitive cult film (not for me, but I recognize its status and value). A thought-provoking and tonal review, but that ultimately boils down to a list of nouns.
Wong Kar-Wai In The Mood For Love

Good review, but still too restrained towards this film that, in my opinion, is a true masterpiece. When I saw it in the cinema (by chance, because at that time I was watching all the films from my film club and had never seen Wong's previous works), I was literally blown away by a type of cinema I had always desired but never experienced: here it is, right in front of my eyes. It’s stunning in every way, every single dress of Maggie Cheung, the puff of smoke from Tony Leung, the musical transitions by Shigeru Umebayashi, the wallpaper by William Chang... all held together by Wong's mastery. For me, it was a heart-stopping experience, and it still is every time I watch it again and again and again.

Watched yesterday. Yes, it’s a little nonsense that demands enormous effort from the viewer not to question how it’s possible that certain silly things are happening on screen. However, if—and I say if—you manage to ignore the blatant plot contrivances, then this film reveals itself to be a very charming and neat comedy. And I want to emphasize the enriching presence of Angela Lansbury, who at 86 years old is still perfectly spry and an actress of touching skill. @ilfreddo: about Carrey's enormous talent that has so far been underutilized except in far too few, but wonderful, films.

A good review for a film I absolutely want to see (even though I’ve never really liked Sean Penn). But the rating?
