Dear Martina, you have officially become my favorite reviewer (is that even a word?)! You are witty, or rather, for your age, extremely witty, and also ironic; in fact (given the amount of hormones that should make you angry and strange morning and night, but clearly that’s not the case), very ironic. And I generally agree with your ten commandments. Digression on point 3: if the League still claims autonomy from the rest of Italy, it’s precisely because there have been divisions in the past (regardless of what caused them) that make the various regions of our country distinct, very distinct. And regarding the idea that “it’s not that they came from the outside to ruin everything”: well, they didn’t come to ruin, they came to exploit a colony! I don’t know which is worse! Please, also, don’t use the word "popolo" because it’s a non-existent concept: who is the popolo??? Digression on point 7: I completely agree. Digression on point 8: the puppeteer is Providence, not luck; people pray for something to happen and then it either does or doesn’t. I look forward to your next review!

A good review and a film that, even though I don't like it much, is objectively a part of cinema history. A brilliant soundtrack by the genius John Williams.

Congratulations to giovanniA for the choice: the poor Mel C is a good pop singer somewhat misunderstood and a bit in the shadows, but I love her very much. A decent record and perhaps inferior to the previous one, I hope the quality improves over time.

@ Yosif: thank you, and if you're referring to the fangirls of the GazettE and similar, I agree with you 101%. As for the comparison with "Another Change," I was referring to the b-side "edge," check it out here:

@psychopompe: why shouldn't I like fantasy? As I wrote in the comment, I don't like the plot, the characters, and the narrative pace, but the setting is superb and the literary inventions are brilliant. Sorry, psychopompe, I didn't understand your comment, could you please explain it to me?

Hi Martina, welcome to DeBaser! You're young, but you show a perfect ability to synthesize and an enviable critical sense... and, in my case, something to agree with: I couldn't finish the book, it was too slow, too long, and too heavy (as you rightly say, "Orlando furioso" is infinitely more original and brilliant), and the films are utterly boring. Regarding the Manichean characters: indeed they are, to the point of being obvious. About the narrative world: I don't think I'm saying anything new if I recognize Tolkien's invention of the most detailed, realistic, and coherent universe ever created in literature across all times and places, and in my opinion the true value of the book lies in having opened a truly prolific vein and in having created a perfectly well-studied world; this is undeniable and deserves all my compliments... but a good story is given by plot + world: if the plot is that terrible, the world alone serves as a nice backdrop and doesn't save the whole product. About Hobbiton: they were more complex things than you believe. Anyway, great debut, keep it up.

They don't seem evil, but I feel a certain sense of detachment towards Brandon Flowers... maybe it's entirely unfounded, but there's something about that man that doesn't convince me. Musically, however, they are quite valid, but my judgment is too immature because it’s based solely on the singles I've heard on the radio or that I've seen videos of on TV: "Bones" was really beautiful, for example.
