Heather Parisi Le Più Belle Canzoni

Finally, a review written in a decent manner. However, there's too much meanness towards Heather Parisi: no one denies that she has been more of a character than an artist, but some of her songs are absolutely enjoyable dance pieces, like "Radiostelle" or the truly wonderful "Disco Bambina," which, if you listen closely, is musically excellent (the lyrics are nonsensical like all of them, one must understand the poetics, but the melody and arrangement are superb). Essential as an icon and excellent as a dancer, but not entirely redeemable as a performer, it's true, yet I like her.

@ Il_Paolo: the entire first part of your comment makes NO SENSE whatsoever. I repeat: it makes NO SENSE. The second part would make sense if we were in Sweden, but we are in Italy, and architects (like me) are useless: construction is a matter of money, not art. Take it from someone who is in the know. Then Silvio I says we need to "trust the aesthetic sense of Italians": WHAT A LOUD CRAP, Italians are a bovine people of ignorants like no other in the world; the fact that we have prestigious vestiges comes from the fact that we had geniuses who left us masterpieces, but these geniuses were one in a million inhabitants. The new cementification plan, on the other hand, will involve far more than one person in a million, and we will witness the definitive total destruction of the national territory, which, as I heard today on Rai Tre's "Art News," has always been regarded by politicians and builders as "an empty space to fill," and not as a value in itself in and of itself. But indeed, setting us a good example is precisely the already mentioned psycho-dwarf, who built himself a villa by the sea in Sardinia when the landscape constraint imposes a buffer zone of no less than 300 meters. Look, I’m almost happy that Italy is heading towards total death: we will finally rid ourselves of all this filth, and it will be possible to rebuild from scratch without existing foundations. I hope for nuclear holocaust (which, by the way, is getting closer given the power plants that are about to be obstructed even by us).

I don't know the radio show, but I like the cover, I like the title, I like the review, I like the little music on the duo's official website... why not give it a try? ;)

@eletto1987: for heaven's sake, a book is just a book, but clearly this one has played a higher role than mere entertainment or information. It has obviously stirred something. Of course, Saviano is not Falcone, but there is an attempt to ensure that Saviano cannot become one: Falcone had his team, yes, but he also had a normal life. Saviano does not; he is a shadow. And if he blows up too, he will become a martyr just like Falcone & Borsellino & Don Diana & etc. And anyway, we must never say phrases like “Eh, in Italy it's like this” or (I quote) “it’s [...] illogical to expose the Camorra and at the same time expect to remain unharmed in Naples”: NO, we all must think of living as if in Sweden, the perfect country where everyone pays taxes, everything works, everything is perfect, there’s a mugging every 10 years, and cats and dogs love each other. Only by continuously comparing ourselves to an abstract and PERFECT reality (and aiming for that) can we draw closer to it; if we keep saying “in Naples it's like this,” we will never get out of it. And that’s why the solution proposed by Francesco Bianconi is becoming increasingly concrete in my mind.

@eletto1987: no, but excuse me, tell me the truth, are you joking or what? Saviano is a journalist who has reported some serious issues, he rightly wants to stay in his land, and to do that he is forced to have bodyguards (who aren’t even in his territory because he’s always moving around). OF COURSE he should complain about his condition, because in a logical country Saviano would be a hero, and instead (as seen in interviews) in Campania they consider him scum. It’s illogical: Saviano has the right to tell stories and at the same time the right to be a free man, and if this cannot happen, it means THERE IS A PROBLEM.

@eletto1987: I can't understand your argument. From the way you speak, it seems that Robespierre shouldn't have organized the French Revolution for fear of reprisals like assassins sent by the nobles, which, according to your reasoning, one should have expected or perhaps hoped for so that he would die a martyr for liberté égalité fraternité. I mean.
