Luigi Pirandello Uno, Nessuno E Centomila

The author is a genius; in my opinion, the best writer of the twentieth century and certainly the greatest theatrical playwright. This is not his masterpiece, yet it is fantastic. I don't see why we should downplay the author by saying he devoted himself to exploring the same themes over and over when this process of recherche is typical of great authors. @holdsworth: WHAT FASCIST??? You live in that period without joining a party and then tell me how beautiful it was.

I want to be honest: the review is quite ugly, so far your worst. The album, on the other hand, is really interesting: I loved "220" at first listen (or rather, the first time I saw the music video), the other singles are pretty good and in general all the tracks have good qualities. In fact, among the three albums that t.A.T.u. have produced, this is the one that is enjoyed the most. Anyway, just for the record and for the detractors, the duo split up just a few days ago, declaring that the t.A.T.u. project in "full time" comes to an end to make way for their solo careers and that they may eventually reunite in the future.

@alia76 Thank you so much to you too, really. I am a man, but not necessarily if I were to jerk off to my favorite singers should this NECESSARILY affect me.

Thanks to pluto1992 for defending Sophie, but know that everyone has their own opinion: just look at all the bad criticism (about the artist and even about you) that you've received in your reviews. In my opinion (and yours and cptgaio's and many others), Sophie is a good singer, but everyone sees her as they wish. About Minogue: on Kylie’s iTunes Store page, it’s wisely written "the sublime often brushes against the ridiculous," and in her case, the line is incredibly thin... but I love her deeply for this!!! XDDD cptgaio: thank you so much! ;)

@alia76: I don't necessarily have to write it myself, you know! I would be happy to do it, but I don't have the prerogative. ;) I will try to distinguish them, though, yes. @Stoney: your argument is not without logic, and I, for one, consider Sophie (as I wrote in my ranking in a review of Natalie Imbruglia) a woman of stunning and instantly orgasmic beauty, and yes, her appearance probably influences me. However, it's also true that I have two ears and know how to listen: Britney can shake her butt as much as she wants, I don't like it. After 5 years of art school and 7 years of architecture, and being a fan of visual kei (a Japanese music genre where image is everything), I can assure you that I learned long ago to separate appearance from substance. I also emphasize that I gave the album 3 stars, not 5, which I think is an honest rating for a decent album (and for which I didn't lavish praises), given that I don't award stars based on personal taste but rather try to objectify the score as much as possible using references (5 stars: true masterpiece, 4 stars: excellent or good, 3 stars: decent or average, 2 stars: bad or very bad, 1 star: not only horrible but also offensive for the category). It follows that this album is "decent or average." I hope I haven’t let the testosterone get the better of me.

But what does Katy Perry have to do with it?

@ alia76: Why a missed opportunity? I intend to review the other two albums by Sophie as well, of course! We start from the beginning, both to review and to get to know an artist, so we can better understand her journey. ;) About her Englishness: absolutely true, and I love her for that too. @ pluto1992: Well, I'm not entirely in agreement about Kylie. Anyway, whatever.

@ Stoney: I really don't think so, pornomignotta will be your cat. @ Hetzer: she didn't "recycle," she signed a (million-dollar) contract with Rimmel.

@ pluto1992: indeed, Björk (with the diaeresis) and Kylie Minogue don't produce disposable pop, but refined stuff, sometimes exquisitely refined. Like Sophie.
