@punkprincess: you're right, in fact when I write that "utsusemi" can refer to the tenacity of behaviors, I am indeed referring to the character of Utsusemi, who embodies the very tenacity of behaviors. Thanks for the comment! ;)

@ThirdEye: it depends on whether or not there's a guy with a sword who delivers the coup de grâce to the suicide victim. Since dying by gutting oneself is very slow and very painful, sometimes there's a loyal companion who beheads the poor soul to prevent too much suffering: if this merciful executioner is present, then it's "seppuku"; if not, it's "harakiri". Mishima performed seppuku, and it seems to me, if I remember correctly, that the executioner was moved and took a long time to kill him, with multiple attempts (it must have been a horrific experience).

Exceptional storytelling and music as a sexual metaphor is absolutely brilliant. Read it more than once and always enjoyed it.

Here we don't discuss the jacket (by Vivienne Westwood) even though it's the summer CD? Anyway, I reiterate my stance as I did in the other review: it's very likely a good album (given the respect I have for J-Ax), maybe it really deserves 4 stars, but as a precaution, I'm giving it 3.

@alexx: I also watched all of "X Factor" (both seasons, and I will keep watching it). The problem isn't "X Factor" itself, which is actually a good show, but who comes out of it.

A perfectly shareable review for the worst contestant of the second edition of "X Factor." I hated him then and I still hate him now, maybe the most outdated being I've seen in years, and he won because he appealed to the housewives of Voghera in the final on Rai Uno with his tearful/draining tone and his sweet little family with angelic curly-haired kiddos. It's not that having a powerful voice means being outdated: here we simply have a guy who can sing just like so many other people (and maybe even worse than many others), he offers NOTHING to music that better artists can't provide; he's old-fashioned because maybe forty years ago he could have said something new, today a character like this simply doesn't make sense, he's just a "shouter" from the '60s (so he's in tune, no one denies it, but he's now out of place and out of time). Morgan has always fought against this type of music and I know (or hope) that what he really cared about was winning "X Factor" purely for the satisfaction of his ego and not because he genuinely believes in Matteo. One note for the reviewer: among the covers sung is "Ancora ancora ancora" by Mina, which is not at all one of those "shameless [...] hateful and completely outdated" songs, but rather a masterpiece: Matteo has truly managed to make it just as you described it; thank you Matteo, we needed to destroy Mina too. Readable review. Record not listened to, but I still allow myself to vote after only hearing the single, as I am convinced that J-Ax is an intelligent person, as he has occasionally proven over the years, so I doubt the album is that bad. To all those who give a 1: but what about Marco Cartaigienica who deserves??? A little proportion and voilà, a 3 surely comes out.
