Vinicio Capossela Ballate per uomini e bestie

It takes time and patience, and then one might also wonder if it's worth investing time and patience to listen to a music album. Well, sometimes yes, this is probably one of those times, but I'm not sure, it takes time and patience. Nice to see you again, Zaireeka!
Fabrizio De André Anime salve

As for the dwarfs, there was also one who bought a mother for three thousand lire; I believe the occurrences end here ;-)
I like the review; it’s obviously a point of view. As De André used to say, a song that needs explaining is a poorly executed song, so it’s good that everyone finds a bit of themselves within a track, even if that discovery is far from what the author intended to express.
Regarding the song “Anime salve,” it’s not among my favorites from the album; perhaps it suffers more than others from the compromise between the two authors, both in the lyrics and in the music. But I too am waiting for a night when the song calls me!
Vinicio Capossela Canzoni della Cupa

The matter of copying has never convinced me. There are many influences, starting from the early albums with obvious references to Waits, but these are declared influences that seem to have produced anything but redundant tracks. Then he took completely original, bold, and unprecedented paths without ever relying on redoing himself. Capossela is a research artist, and like any researcher, he writes and develops from known elements, as in the case of rebetiko, "marine" literature and the folk song of the last album. I must admit, though, that the game of similarities is always fascinating ;)

And today, alone, he has gone... It's a huge disappointment to realize that the expectations for new songs and new words from him have now suddenly stopped and become meaningless. I knew he was ill, but I hoped he could get better and embrace life and the guitar again. And once again, hoping didn’t help.

I probably was first in line during the distribution of empathy, damn me! And to protect myself from the emotions of others, it took me years to build my little snail shell. Then I got this record, and on top of that, it’s on vinyl, and the construction went crashing down! You’re absolutely right, Flo; we recognize each other, and in doing so, we try to understand each other better.

damn me and my "opportunities left waiting."
Brunori sas Kurt Cobain
Voto:
I recently discovered this Brunori sas, and I find him quite likable. I know, I feel it too – that thing about the radical chic singer-songwriter with the beard/glasses combo, a voice reminiscent of Rino Gaetano, and let's throw De Gregori into the mix as well. But the whole "he reminds me of" thing doesn’t always convince me: many artists remind us of others, yet they are still capable of saying and giving something unique, sometimes even more inspired than their inspirations, and forgive me the paradox. In short, I agree with zaireeka once again! ;)

therefore the debaseriano should also be mattelliottiano! almost thinking that the next concert should be organized by us, and it should last three and a half hours, in a place with amazing acoustics and with some alcoholic help to limit, or rather expand, the "abyss" effect!

Oh yes, "the hoarse song of the siren"!
