Well, honestly, the stereotype of "guitar-based disco" had already been surpassed by the seventies prog, but unfortunately, it still persists thanks to narrow-minded people stuck on the purest rock who can't move beyond AC/DC, who deny the artistic and creative sense that music can have...

Of course, if someone were to write something well-reasoned and analytical about why this band receives so much hate and why they might deserve to be hated, it would perhaps be a little better... I would love to hear someone's thoughts on it, maybe an editorial dedicated to them written by someone who hates them...

The most pop album of the group, yet completely valid in its pop essence; a very detailed review.

Even if you don’t go into detail about the album, you’ve said some right things. The Pink Floyd are indeed too praised without often critically analyzing what they’ve done, almost out of "belief that they are great because everyone says so"; they are great in my opinion as well, and they certainly created a new way of expressing themselves, no doubt about that; however, I’m mostly of the opinion that the vast majority of their contemporaries were crazier and more out of their minds than they were! Read my definition!

Serious, quite a bad review! Written rather poorly!

I appreciate both sides of Symphony X, so I really enjoyed this album as well; it was one of my top listens in the summer of 2015! Then I saw them at Alcatraz in March 2016, and although the setlist was unfortunately too heavily focused on this album, it was an amazing concert—unbelievable power and a crowd that was just the right amount of wild.

Honestly, I can't find any reason to dislike this more extreme and aggressive side of Symphony X; however, I hope they don't get stuck here and continue to find new inspiration in their subsequent albums.

But shall we talk about the "so much effort for nothing"... that is, the hassle of unlocking Dr. Boskonovitch only to find out he was actually a total dud...?

You’re right... Would today’s kids ever play with Crash, Spyro, Abe, etc...? Now it’s all soccer and shooters...

I'm not a movie lover (it might sound strange given my passion for certain music; it's odd that such a passion hasn't had repercussions on cinema...), when I go I often fall asleep, which is why if they don't want to see me dozing off they have to take me to see a "light," fun movie that keeps me awake; so I found this quite entertaining; maybe precisely because I'm not a cinephile and I lack a critical sense of film, as someone might say, but I liked it enough! If taken for what it is, namely a fun movie, it's fine!

No Tull album is to be despised in my opinion; each one is an important step in the evolution of the band.
