truly passionate review for a supreme album!

Really, why only 3 stars? The 5 stars are a must for an album where technique, melody, and power are perfectly balanced...

detox but I don't see why we shouldn't mention Systematic Chaos among the best releases of 2007...? I really don't see the reason, it's a danceable, powerful, varied album, not boring at all! come on...

this album is beautiful, you're SX, very powerful and thrash oriented compared to the previous ones, but the previous ones clearly had an extra gear.

Enough with this fucking vilification against Dream Theater... I would give you the guillotine just for that... because you spoke well of the album. It's just that criticizing the main band of the prog-metal genre is truly unacceptable; if Symphony X stands out for their technical skill, they owe it to Dream Theater as well; without them, prog-metal probably wouldn't even exist (yes, because Fates Warning and Queensrÿche weren't doing prog-metal, that was just a form of heavy metal with progressive influences within it...); Symphony X is a great band, but Dream Theater are still Dream Theater! And why should we contest the technical side of prog-metal bands... these bands are interesting primarily for that, they distinguish themselves from traditional bands precisely for their virtuosity, which I don't think is meant to mask a lack of ideas; no, it’s just about responding to the characteristics of the genre! People want something more melodic and less technical from these bands... but if that were the case, there wouldn't even be any interest in listening to them... if you want something more melodic, then listen to U2, you'd be better off!

Inside Out is the most decent label there is; it's one of the few that produces valid records... it's a label only for prog bands, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, why do you have to erase them? Spock's Beard, no matter what you say, has written masterpieces! Even though I haven't listened to the great progsters of the past, I think albums like V, The Kindness Of Strangers, and Beware Of Darkness hold their own against the classics!

Dear Michoos, Pain of Salvation has absolutely nothing to do with Dream Theater; they are two bands that may play the same genre but are completely different in terms of approach!

To The Spirit: why should a band limit itself to a single genre... when it can explore and show that it is always innovative and original?

childish... so tell me, how should I write it? Honestly, it doesn't seem to me that there are many better ones around...

Thank you for the comments, but... since I see that I made some mistakes which are, I repeat, due to distraction and some errors escape everyone's notice, I insist that those in the editorial team CORRECT any imperfections instead of just highlighting them, which is rather useless or at least only useful to a certain extent... excuse me, since they go back through the review highlighting the most important points, why not correct any spelling errors if there are any... I don't see the reason not to do it! It seems contradictory to me! Don't you think?
