The EP itself doesn’t say much, raw and anonymous, a somewhat bland drak-wave-punk, even though within it already peek the themes of the early works of SWANS: alienation, decadence, a bottomless pit, deep, violently inhuman; listen (if you can) to Filth and Cop, and then we’ll talk again. The review? But you didn’t even try.

Well, for me it's an enigmatic, overrated album. I can't get into it; maybe Reckoner and All I Need are the most "Radiohead" tracks in the "classic" sense. Many say it's their most accessible album, but I think the opposite. It's the only one that doesn't flow naturally into my system like the others have, from The Bends onwards. Even the "experimental" combo of Kid A and Amnesiac was easier for me to listen to. As for the review, low score—not because it's bad, but because it's the same as so many others.

After a few albums in which dear Nick appeared flabby and tired, after Mr. Blixa "Neubauten" abandoned ship, after a slight awakening with "Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus," finally the Ink King has awoken and returned to disturb our dreams. Grinderman has been a breath of fresh air, positive signals also for the new album with the Bad Seeds, set to be released in March. The King is dead, long live the King.......
