on the contrary, I’m not bothered by it; it’s been happening since the dawn of time that albums are released online only to be launched months later (now they’re even released legally, just look at the case of Radiohead or the very recent "ghosts I-IV" by Nine Inch Nails). Let’s stop pretending to be “virgins,” it makes no sense...
Iron Maiden Live After Death, Special Edition 2008

Whether you are nice or not, I don’t care; I judge the review (or lack of review) as functional and explanatory. About the live performance, just a few words: the band is in a state of grace, and you can feel it. When I was younger, I was a “metalhead” too; today I listen to completely different stuff, but one must give credit where it’s due: Iron Maiden were one of the few bands that stood out in a sea of mediocrity…

the ODP go beyond music and poetry; their lyrics talk about real things, maybe trivialities, memories, sensations, all sprinkled with a disarming (dis)commitment to politics.
They say that music is just a background; maybe this applied to "socialismo tascabile," but for this "bachelite," they have improved quite a bit musically—the sound is cleaner and more varied, ranging from homemade wave to minimal glitch to post-rock guitars. It has its own integrity, but it’s obvious that the music without Max Collini’s lyrics doesn’t go anywhere, even if it remains enjoyable.
I want to remind you that the ODP do not aspire to become the CCCP; such comparisons are pointless, as they have already stated in various interviews.

like (almost) all musical works tied to a theatrical or cinematic context, on their own they lose a lot of their reason for existing. DR9 is no exception; there’s something good in it, but for the rest, boredom reigns...

I would let it go, the world is full of idiots, just imagine how many there are online, even on Debaser obviously.
More than ignoring them, there's nothing you can do...
Good review and an excellent album.

I believe the term "experimentation" is used a bit too loosely. A sufficiently enjoyable album, but the masterpieces (another big word) are others, for example Homogenic and to some extent Vespertine, and in fact after these records full of sounds and "beautiful" songs, Björk has only produced "ugly" albums (I've never been able to tolerate Medúlla, too far from "pop," even worse with the soundtrack of the show Drawning Restrain 9, self-indulgent and boring). Volta brings us back to the song format, but something is missing; good production, surrounding great artists, but something is lacking, perhaps a bit of heart...
