Nadja When I See the Sun Always Shines on TV
Voto:
The review could have been a 4, but the opening cost you 2 points. (Albano and Romina are to Music what Berlusconi is to Democracy). The album is nice, but the true power and pleasure of Nadja lies in the long suites where you can gently drown ;)
Gorillaz Plastic Beach

And in fact I don't like this album, but maybe I do.
Blue Öyster Cult Extraterrestrial Live

I don't know if it's the same beer they were thinking of, but in the pub I usually go to, they have Oyster on tap (http://www.porterhousebrewco.com/popoyster.html), very similar to Guinness or Beamish. Cheers!
Xasthur The Funeral of Being
Voto:
when listening to Xasthur, the BLACK of Black Metal disappears to make way for the WHITE, the (non)color of absence, void, nothingness...
Xasthur Defective Epitaph
Voto:
Xasthur is one of those artists who seeks to experiment while always remaining anchored to the "black metal" genre. Terms like "suicidal," "depressive," "atmospheric," etc., do not add or take away anything from the substance. In particular, this work is appreciated for its sound texture that is almost "shoegaze," a kind of Loveless by My Bloody Valentine turned towards black metal sounds. In the wall of sound created by MBV, one could sweetly get lost; in the sonic whirlpool created by Maleficus, drowning is a risk.
Robert Fripp & Brian Eno No Pussyfooting
Voto:
The two, separately, have done better things, but this is the best thing birthed by the duo Fripp & Eno. I still cherish the vinyl.
Pearl Jam Vitalogy
Voto:
I don't know, I can't stand the PJs anymore since No Code came out. Anyway, yes, Vitalogy is the album where Vedder and the gang experiment a bit more, it's a great album (which still doesn’t measure up to the worst album by Mudhoney).
Coil Black Antlers
Voto:
The review is excellent, as always, but I have some reservations about the album. The "better" COIL works are in other releases. It's an unfinished work, and it's precisely for this reason (as with the "compilation" Ape of Naples) that it suffers from inconsistent quality and a lack of homogeneity. Personally, I adore the "cosmic" COIL of Astral Disaster and Music to Play in The Dark I and II, but if only we had albums today like Black Antlers (and bands like COIL).
