hahaha a bassist among the most original???? I quote the well-known fan of Rage puntinicaz, according to whom the bassist of RATM can be replaced by 90,000 bassists out there........I’d say that after this fanatical statement of yours, it's best we close the discussion here.

Do one thing: listen to the Urban Dance Squad and then we’ll talk about it again... but you probably don’t even know who they were... Rage didn’t invent anything; they just took the most obvious elements from a couple of musical genres and added the anger and rage that fascinate kids so much, even those from '88 like you who missed the bus back then and now get enchanted by this geriatric sideshow like the Circo Orfei set up to squeeze a bit of money out of you ahahahah.

cretinalbo you're really stupid, avoid talking about plagiarism: Rage built their career on plagiarism, copying riffs from Led Zeppelin and especially borrowing from Urban Dance Squad, whom Morello toured with when he was playing with Lock Up, the rap-rock formula.....

Dinosaur Jr. Live @ Hiroshima Mon Amour - Torino, 02/06/08

So according to Lewis, Soundgarden were revivalists while Dinosaur Jr. were great innovators? Why didn’t Mascis draw heavily from the 70s? Just take any track by Neil Young with Crazy Horse, crank up the amplifier volume, and here come the Dinosaur Jr. So much so that Young himself made Weld in 1991 to show these kids who were copying him but then in interviews claimed they didn’t know him (Mascis, that is) that in that type of rock, he was always and forever the best. Soundgarden rejuvenated hard rock at the end of the 80s, their early albums still rock hard, of course if Supersoul refers to the Cornell character of the 90s, he’s deliberately mixing the waters.

...far from the grunge of Seattle, the flag of a certain musical generation between 1987 and 1992 was the Dinosaur Jr................an album like "Ultramega Ok" by Soundgarden sweeps away any whining melody + noise from this American Carlo VAnzina.
James Cameron Terminator 2: Il Giorno Del Giudizio

But how can one say that the sequel is superior to the original? The first Terminator was fabulous; it had that overwhelming cybernetic urgency and the visionary quality characteristic of the sci-fi imagination of the '80s, like various Blade Runner. Here, however, we often fall into the goodism represented by the pumped-up Austrian, with over-the-top special effects and solutions that are just designed to win over the general public and those reviewers of niceties like Grant Nicholas, who get impressed by the performance of the villain of the moment. But there’s really very little pure science fiction here.
