No come on, I don’t need to listen to it again, I remember it quite well, but Oldfield's style doesn’t really match my tastes, so I’ll pass...

If I didn't know the album, the review wouldn't help me much to understand anything. Regarding the rating for Ommadawn, I'm too undecided; an immediate listen is urgent.

@frère_ubu: I am of the hypothesis that Il_Calogero deliberately wrote what he wrote to mimic the "mission" of Il_Paolo.. I don't really believe he thought those things, it's a provocation.

Then if you tell me that the works with Collins don’t measure up to those with Gabriel because they don’t match your tastes or because you no longer find the elements that captivated you and were present in the early albums, fine... I have nothing to say, everyone has their own preferences, but I don’t agree with those who dismiss certain albums ONLY because Gabriel doesn’t sing on them.

Look Shò, we agree, right? It’s a cliché that many Genesis fans deny the importance of the albums released after Peter's departure essentially because he isn’t there... and that’s a fact. However, if you tell me that it’s NOT Gabriel’s absence that penalizes them, then I can only be in line with your thoughts. If you say you prefer the albums from the Gabriel era, I won’t argue about it, I just want to say that I don't support those who deny the excellence of the later albums just because they lack the first singer. That's all.

But also no.

Paolo, I agree with you (even though I prefer Nursery Cryme to Foxtrot), Selling England is not without its ups and downs and this may be a drawback, but (and I may be the only one) I don’t find the same fluctuating rhythm in The Lamb.. for me it’s perfect from beginning to end. I don’t see any verbosity or filler pieces.. then again, we know, these are just points of view.

I quote Lewis for the record and Bartle for the review, to which I give 4 because it’s truly a top-notch emulation. But that's enough now, alright? One reviewer along this line is more than sufficient..

I personally found the true nature of hard rock hidden in the TG5 jingle. But 4 reviews on the homepage, all sent at the same time, isn't that a bit much?

Come on, tell us what it is! Let's see if we fall into the most banal and predictable cliché in the history of Genesis...
