The only fantasy I've read besides The Hobbit, the second one can be overlooked, but The Lord of the Rings was a very beautiful book for me to read (and it's not that I'm obsessed with the genre)! I don't know if it was due to my age or something else, maybe it was just that Tolkien was such a brilliant mind that made me appreciate it! :)) The films didn't impress me much except for the first one. (p.s. I too had heard about the interpretations from the left and right... apparently, both liked it a bit).

Just yesterday, I saw two contestants from X Factor at my boyfriend's aunt's house :DD! They were the ones who got split up, sending the girl away at the beginning, and they hang out in my neighborhood (even Noemi from last year used to frequent these places; my mom saw her at the supermarket bragging to the baker >.<!). What can I say, they sang and I got to hear them live, and they definitely have nice voices... so in the end, the problem seems to be that these people are prostituting their vocal cords by singing plastic songs... I don't know, I wouldn't accept this, also because I think you become a slave to it and it's pointless to think you can do something truly yours that’s media-relevant after an experience like that, because you only receive ephemeral exposure in front of an ignorant audience (in the sense that they don't necessarily care about the music, maybe they just want to see the competition, the intrigue, and the trash!). So in the end, either you keep doing something terrible or as soon as you start doing something of your own, no one will ever know about it because you won't have anyone shining a spotlight on you anymore... you have to be a genius to break this mechanism, but perhaps if you were such, you wouldn't even need X Factor! In short: pointless program! Better to have a few good fans done the old-fashioned way, so you don't even get your liver hurt as much :) smileeeeeeee

A classmate from university told me all about it... I don't think I'll read it! Just listening to it made me feel anxious, maybe because I saw some of my own annoyingly adolescent behaviors reflected in it... I don't know.

Well, there's hardly any talk about federalism and the fact that the individual is seen as such only within society... so if there's no state, it doesn't mean there's no society and relationships among people. Anyway, I've always preferred Proudhon...
