Despite this society wanting to be individualistic, in the end, man is a social being; he cannot live without relating to others, and in fact, without external connections and comparisons, he would not have the same evolution of thought. From this arises the need to create 'groups'; the church is simply one of these collections of people. The problem is that within it, there is no comparison, no growth because everything is under dogma. So, do we really need these involutive groups? For me, following a dogma is not a matter of faith; it is a matter related to personal stagnation. Even believing individuals, when they realize they are in a dull environment, abandon it. They may continue to believe, read the sacred scriptures, consider them massively convincing and true, but they start asking a few more questions. Honestly, I don't feel I can tell a self-aware Catholic, like the one I described a line ago, that he is wrong or not wrong to believe in something higher outside of himself identified with Christ, God, or whatever. I have always liked this one, great choice Trix. Of course, you got a bit lost explaining everything, between right hand, left hand, and here and there XD!
