You relieved me of a not easy task. I had started it too, but this year it really seems like I can't finish anything :-). Anyway, not a votable album for me as you rightly did, but absolutely a must-have. The Event one is a crazy formula, a chimera that goes beyond the concept of music both in terms of experimentation and regular passive or active listening. For a better understanding of its content, there's also an excellent integration in the maledetti booklet.

Big, big record...nothing to say, it flows like a pleasure (suite included)
Pink Floyd Live in Rome Palaeur,June 20,1971

I have two/three insane bootlegs, one where they play the primordial version of Dark Side of the Moon (with One of These Days as an encore), another titled "Around the Mystic" (totally psychedelic, with an improvised track of nearly twenty minutes and other unreleased pieces like "Trip on Mars" or "Yupiter's Eye"), but so far my favorite bootleg is the Live in London from 1970, which has decent acoustics compared to the totally unlistenable ones I mentioned. I don't know the one you reviewed, but I'll give it a 5 just because my father was in the audience (he didn't really appreciate those trippy Pink Floyd, and in fact, at the end of the concert, he wanted to ask for a refund for the ticket... ahahahah).

Definitely an interesting record, but for the rating, I'll postpone it to a more thorough listening. Ribot is great... Nice review!

some beautiful links (even that little page in English which is simple and translates by itself)... I think I will like this a lot. Thanks for the tip.

I quote Carl Marx and extend it to Animals and The Wall as well.

@Ok, the important thing is to clear things up, since your comment seemed similar to the last two lines of Embryo. By the way, Embryo is a great nick in the Pink theme ;-)

"I just don't understand if anyone has ever noticed that - to put it plainly - after Meddle they just repeated themselves in a more accessible way, that Dark Side is a bit crap and that The Wall is really crap." Who knows, Franci! If you'll ever realize that everyone has their own tastes. I think you will. After all, what the hell does the accessibility of a "song" hurt you? Sorry, but sometimes it feels like we're witnessing a fair of clichés. No hard feelings, okay?

a live that’s absolutely amazing. There’s little to be done.

I don't know if they've been mentioned before, but the Morgans of "Nova solis" aren't too bad either, in the realm of prog with some folk traits (the album, by the way, was recorded in Italy).
