The first Fantasia film marked my childhood (and perhaps even went beyond that). This has never fully convinced me, even though the choice of music is certainly not up for debate.

Another masterpiece by Mr. Zappa
Giardini Di Mirò The Academic Rise Of Falling Drifters

Recently re-listened to, paradoxically for me, it is the best work to associate with their name. I say this, however, with the awareness of someone who needs to give the original album a good listen (I remember very little). Best tracks: "The Beauty Tape Rider," "Pet life safer," and "Rise and Fall of Academic Drifting."
Tortoise & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy The Brave And The Bold
Voto:
I can't help it, but for me, Tortoise hasn't missed a beat so far. Of course, not everything they've done is at the same level (the first three albums are masterpieces), but they have always delivered great music. In this album, Tortoise emerges as arrangers, and in my opinion, the result is pleasant (Daniel is my favorite), while I can't say much about Bonnie Prince Billy except that he has a lovely voice. The rating would actually be 3.5.

Uhmmm I didn’t imagine that so few people knew about the Radiodervish… Anyway, a shout-out to everyone who has been through. @Runner lucky you, I’d love to see them live. From the few things I’ve listened to, it’s really worth it (I’m referring to the live “In Acustico” which is beautiful).

Sorry editors, could you correct that ?Pinaxa' to 'Pinaxa' in the fifth line of the second part? Thanks
Ry Cooder Chávez Ravine

I got to know the album thanks to this wonderful review, when I wasn't even signed up on debaser yet, so leaving a comment seems obligatory. The review, by the way, seems even better to me than the first time I read it. Currently, this is the only album by Ry Cooder that I know well, and it really motivates me to delve deeper into his works. All the tracks are of great class and, as you say, full of heart, but "Don't call me red," "Poor Man's Shangri-La," "El ufo cayo," "In my town," and "Soy luz y sombra" take my breath away every time I hear them.
