Well, Jargon is not entirely wrong. Having musicians like Wakeman...

The album is not terrible (personally I’d give it a 5.5/10). They will do worse later on... In live performances, however, they have always proven to be impeccable. Of course, more than Wakeman, the significant absence was that of Steve Howe.

What can we say about Patitucci..... I have been able to appreciate some of his interesting performances where he played, if I'm not mistaken, alongside people like Chick Corea and Vinnie Colaiuta, just to name the first two that come to mind. I haven't had the chance to listen to him as a soloist and more generally in terms of composition. He seems like a great bassist, true to the law of the six-string Yamaha, another one who, in simple terms, makes use of most of the possible and conceivable octaves on the instrument, producing pleasant chiaroscuro brushstrokes.... Good suggestion, I will try to listen to something more.

Distant Hill is also a very valid album, and by the way, Jake, I don't know if you've ever listened to the live Clusone Jazz Festival 2006 by Oregon. It's a blast!
