Sonic Youth Goo
Voto:
True, neither those before nor those after reach the level of Daydream Nation; among those after, I think Washing Machine comes pretty close. Both this one and Dirty are nevertheless great albums (the guitar sounds on Dirty, in particular, are fantastic).

Never even thought about recovering this, I hold tight to the debut, London Calling, and Sandinista!
Cesare Rizzi / Claudio Sorge Enciclopedia del rock psichedelico

You made me think of my literally destroyed copy of "500 essential albums" from Mucchio Selvaggio (when Guglielmi was still around), which for me was certainly a bit of a reference point, especially when I knew very little about the subject. I should buy the reissue they made, adding another 500 essential albums (now it's "1000 essential albums"). On Psychedelia, I have a text from Giunti, it seems to me, not bad, a concise and practical guide on the topic that briefly touches on the 80s and 90s as well, but the most important part of the subject actually comes first (I also have the volumes on Britrock and Grunge, from the same series).

But how are you not listed among the Dema connoisseurs?! You’re the third!
Danny Boyle T2 Trainspotting
Voto:
As I’ve already mentioned elsewhere, Boyle is a director I love; I “experienced” and loved Trainspotting “live”… in short, I’ll definitely watch it, and from the reviews (and the comments above), it promises to be very good. I’m also curious to see what they’ve included in the soundtrack (the first one had an incredible one as well).

Hi Grant, nice, and good job always bringing new ideas here on deb.
The Clash Sandinista!

Difficult to choose between this and London Calling
Mel Gibson La battaglia di Hacksaw Ridge

I really liked "Apocalypto" (unlike The Passion, which remains one of the most horrendous films ever for me), certainly the reviews do not encourage watching the latter.
Hüsker Dü Statues / Amusement
Voto:
Very beautiful and interesting is the story of their debut on 7-inch, which, unlike most of their work, I don't know, but I give it a 5 out of trust.
Elbow Little Fictions

It seems to me that they started around the same time as Interpol, Libertines, Strokes, Vines, etc. (but I could be wrong), however, I have never listened to them.
