One of the Dylans that I never even thought of retrieving.

Indeed, I’ve never even heard their name before, and I’ve been following the Britrock scene since "The Great Escape" came out. It seems to me they aren't even mentioned in the Giunti atlas of Britrock - I Moderni. Let’s see if I can listen to something.

I've always liked the cover (I prefer the original version); R.E.M. often featured photographs on their covers that depicted something specific (often it's not clear what) that, taken out of context, become something strange and sometimes dreamlike, open to interpretation (take, aside from this one, the cover of Murmur, or New Adventures in Hi-Fi for example). I also appreciate the "half" covers like those of Lifes Rich Pageant or Document; I find them significant and innovative. Of course, they also produced bland covers (like Out of Time or Up; regarding the latter, it's really a shame to assign such a cover to a masterpiece).

We're in the first season, so it's too early to say, but let's just say it’s shaping up to be one of my favorites. Moreover, it seemed more focused on the sociological aspect (with explicit references, for example, to Durkheim, Goffman, etc.) rather than the psychological one, and perhaps that has contributed to my particular appreciation for it. For now, I'll give it a 5. We'll see with the second season.

Yes, one of their absolute peaks and probably the highest summit among the summits, that's true. And one of my Top 20 albums. I don't quite agree on the best track, or at least I would have included others, in any case, great review. Question: how does the remastering sound? Ah, and "Up" is a seriously underrated album, for me it’s one of their peaks, absolutely breathtaking.

Good, a 3.5. Your analysis is nice, it reflects the spirit of the film.

I'm sorry Lulù, it has nothing to do with it, but I understood where they got the title "The Larder They Come" when in the '90s they wrote about Tad.

Never listened to it, I should catch up on "Peggy Suicide" first of all.

Very beautiful, I fully agree with your analysis, both of the characters and the plot, as well as the key points and the buildup of the last two episodes. It's also nice here the "launch" in the last sequence for the third season. I confirm a 4, but a full 4.
