In any case, the devil does not exist; it's just God when he's drunk (quote).

My favorite of theirs remains the fourth, for me their masterpiece (at least among the first four, I don't know anything about what they've done since), but this, "So Far," and "Faust IV" I really like (5 stars for all three in any case). I found "Faust Tapes" unbearable, though: a jumble of nonsense.

I would have avoided including some plot details; aside from that, the review is still good. Netflix puts out a lot of beautiful original content, but this one didn't convince me, starting with the usual zombie contagion storyline (which I really can't stand anymore, it personally bored me to tears), to the not-so-exciting development. A three, in any case, is fair enough.

Yes, I had read about these in the Giunti manual of Britrock, one of the texts I have at home that I browse through when I feel like listening to something new (for me, of course).

The review is horrible, but not because of the critiques of De Andrè (it would have been the same even if there were only praises), precisely because it seemed to me like reading the absolute void. On top of that, you tell me that De Andrè lacks personality and strength in his voice. I don’t know what you’re waiting for to give this a one on the home page.

Never even heard these Grants mentioned.

Now, it will certainly take more listens for a deeper analysis, but it's evident from the first listens that we are facing a great album, yet another shift and evolution from them. The quality is really top-notch, inspired, beautiful melodies, cohesive, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll give it a 5 because it truly is an album that deserves a lot. Already one of the best of the year, no doubt about it.

From what I've read around (given the excessively low ratings above, probably based on just one listen), it's an album that requires a significant number of listens to reveal its full potential. The reviews I've read (including international ones) speak very highly of it, in fact.

They are the only English band from the '00s that I still follow (I discovered them with the excellent "Humbug" from '09), the only one that has managed to change and evolve from album to album (as Blur did), proving once again that this is one of the best ways to survive artistically speaking. I was looking forward to it so much and I’ll go over it as soon as I listen to it, but I’m convinced it will be an excellent album at the very least.

I also remember this as a good movie, absolutely. Nice review and nice reflection.
