The last one had amused me, despite everything: of course, watched on Netflix, and this one too, I’ll only see it if they bring it back there.

The review is very nice. I appreciate Zappa, but I have listened to very little so far, considering his massive production which makes it hard to navigate (I have the "Zappografia" that Mucchio Extra published years ago).

I finally managed to see it. Another full vote for me (the only Tarantino films I would rate a 4 are Jackie Brown and Death Proof, the others all get a 5).

Come on, I'm giving it a solid 5, I really enjoyed it and it's flowing very well, by the way (paradoxical for the music they play, I would say). I've started listening to Dopesmoker too, but for now, I'm putting it aside and I’ll keep listening to this, I’d say. It's definitely an album to include among the best of the year, no doubt about it.

Since I'm currently re-listening to the spectacular trilogy by Kyuss (the only stoner band I truly know and love), I started listening to this new album by Sleep out of curiosity, given that it's been getting quite a bit of buzz on deb (I had never heard anything from them before). It's too early to give any kind of opinion/assessment, but it made me want to listen to Dopesmoker, so that's a good sign.

I finished it a while ago but I forgot to review it. Beautiful, exciting, and undeniably fun. A perfect 4 is quite fitting, and I agree with your great analysis.

I've always followed Porcupine Tree and Wilson ever since I first listened to that masterpiece "In Absentia." I didn't know that another member had started releasing solo work, good to know.

Welcome back! It’s been a while since we’ve seen you around here.

I find that Grant, always with his punctual and precise style, is nothing less than a treasure here on Deb: he reviews 99.9% new releases (! and this alone deserves recognition) with enviable consistency and always describes the album of the moment very well. I believe that the beauty of Deb lies also in the variety of styles of each reviewer. And then, well, personally, I really get the enthusiasm for an album he liked. He just tries to do it in the most objective way possible.
