But just think, they’ve popped up again. I’ve listened to almost all their albums (except for the second-to-last one, "Wicked Nature," which I remember they talked about quite positively), and what can I say, their huge limitation has been to always rehash the same old stuff, never a change in direction even by mistake. Maybe the one I prefer is "Vision Valley," solid, straightforward, and it even has a nice extended finale. Sooner or later I'll listen to both this one and the previous one.

It's actually a great album, the compositional level is high (after all, we're talking about one of the greatest English songwriters of all time) and I listened to it very willingly. Those sounds will continue not to be among my favorites, that much is certain, but at this point, at least I'll give Demon Days a shot, then we’ll see.

As I believe I’ve already mentioned somewhere (perhaps in your review of Humanz), as a deep admirer of Blur, I’ve never quite managed to get into Albarn's main project outside of Blur: I bought the first one when it came out, it didn’t captivate me much, and I let it go (I focused exclusively on Coxon’s solo work, of which I had already purchased the first two and the third was about to be released back in the summer of 2001). You even say it’s their best, so at this point, I think I’ll give it a listen.

In any case, it seems obvious to me (to say the least) that this is a fake.

Reception in line with the Cover

They basically never told me anything, I’ve always remained totally indifferent to their music even when it was truly believed they were a great band (yes, there was a time when they were considered a big deal), the review is however really pointless and ugly and not because it’s the 745382974639294374th one, eh.

I absolutely do not agree at all with the evaluation of the album, which, by the way, is very clear from the first listen that it is of an extremely high level, let alone after 20 listens. "Tracks that have neither head nor tail, but twist around inconclusive melodies and lyrical hyperboles" is, in my opinion, the biggest nonsense you have written in this review.

I only have the debut, first I have to do magic and medicine then. Great review.
