The review isn't bad. The album is good, it captures a band that, in my opinion, is in a state of complete transformation, which will culminate with Atom Heart Mother (from Meddle they will find the style that will define them from then on).

RHCP have always been indigestible for me, but the 3/4 albums by Frusciante that I've listened to I actually liked, and for me this is his best. Above all, the Pink Floyd-esque "Before the Beginning" and the emotional peak of "Central."

Beautiful

I'm loving it to pieces, superior in every way to the previous two, but not only that: personally, I would place it in their top 4 for quality. First of all, the songwriting; it's a more beautiful piece after another (with themes, among other things, from the dark fairy tale that adds charm). Then there's a perfect synergy with Paz (who co-writes 3 beautiful tracks), and also some surprises in terms of musical direction (which seem influenced by some things from Frank Black/Black Francis solo, those that are more distant from the goblins, so to speak). In short, excellent, and maybe I'll come back after a few more listens.

Even though I have everything by Sonic Youth, I've never felt the urge to listen to this strange thing, and I think it's unlikely that I ever will.

As always, it's worth rewarding you for all the work you do with the new albums.

I won't vote for you because otherwise I'd have to give you a 5 just for the joke.

And he had made a trumpet out of his butt.

But really, many people here don’t like prosecco?! I’m crazy about it, I was reading and thinking: "What the hell! How can you repeatedly refuse a case of prosecco?!" Anyway, engaging read.
