Arctic Monkeys Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino
Voto:
As far as I'm concerned, one of their best, the Arctic Monkeys are one of the few bands that emerged in the '00s who had the intelligence to understand that they needed to evolve if they didn’t want to end up forgotten like many of their contemporaries: the turning point of Humbug in this regard was fundamental for them, and the release of AM is a culmination. This excellent album represents another turning point, and it struck me on the first listen.
The Flaming Lips Zaireeka

A couple of years ago, I did a deep dive into their discography, listening to about 70% of it, I think: my favorites are Embryonic, The Soft Bulletin, and Transmission from the Satellite Earth (three albums that also represent their souls well). Zaireeka, along with those two craziness of tracks that last hours and hours, I don’t have the courage.
Pavement Watery, Domestic

I don't know the EP but I received that it represents them very well. They introduced a fundamental attitude in rock. I obviously have their first two, I should get the third, many say that one is also well worth it.
The Dream Syndicate The Universe Inside

As you probably already know, I have medicine show but it has never grabbed me, let alone this one, which I even tried to listen to out of curiosity about the biblical lengths of the tracks and the cover: I agree with the mind-numbing boredom (obviously I didn't even finish the first track). I thought it was a problem of mine, since they don't drive me crazy. Apparently, it’s not.
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here

In fact, Waters wanted to call Have a Cigar in the Romanesco dialect: "Pija 'sto sigaro," but the other three didn’t like it. One of the best reviews ever, very well done.

As a fake, you could do more: step it up!
Alfonso Cuarón I Figli Degli Uomini
Voto:
Years ago, I don't remember where, when, or why I started watching it, but it didn't grab me and I moved on to other things (yes, these days it even happens to me with movies, not just with albums, thanks to the massive selection on Netflix). I’ve seen that it's now on Netflix, and I’ll definitely check it out after this review.
Roberto Benigni Pinocchio
Voto:
It was indeed a great disappointment, and I'm sorry to say it because I love Benigni. I remember some scenes and the poetic ending that struck me, but nothing else. I do remember that I liked the prickly pears as the cat and the fox (and I have never liked them). In any case, Benigni will return with La Tigre e la Neve, which I find excellent (on par with La vita è bella, Johnny Stecchino, il Mostro, and il Piccolo Diavolo), the film where all of his cinema is encapsulated. In fact, for me, after La vita è bella, I don’t really consider this one in his filmography; I go straight to the next masterpiece. I won't give it a two because I care about him; let’s say a very scant three.
Mick Harvey Intoxicated Man / Pink Elephants

Pink elephants are one of my favorite animals :D I don't know anything about him, but for now I'll just note it and here's a 5 for you.
