For the above comment (and also for Jurix if he remembers), isn't it true that the story you are talking about was called "the haunted house" and had nothing to do with a witch? I remember reading a story with a similar title (legendary the books for 1000 lire) by HP, but I DON'T remember the plot. Or maybe they are two different stories?
