Personally, Madame Bovary is a record that took years to be truly appreciated, more than all the others; at first, I somewhat snubbed it, and it has never made me shout miracles, but over time it managed to conquer me with its extreme elegance, refinement, and melancholy (why do I even tell you this) mixed with romanticism.

On the Unfound Island, I feel a strong desire to change and shift sounds towards something more elaborate. It contains songs that are true masterpieces, but as a whole I’ve never considered it a top-rated album. Maybe it’s more varied and mature, but for me it still falls short of Folk Beat and Two Years Later, which many consider too raw but also very genuine, spontaneous, and rich in beautiful melodies, not to mention the lyrics. For me, they are both 5s, while the Unfound Island is a 4.
