I saw it with a friend and he liked it a lot; it seems to be a nice little film. I'll read the review later.

Do you perhaps see my rating for the album??? I reiterate that it's a fucking cover!!!

I recommend you listen to the first (excellent) album. A beautiful ProgRock that revolves around the two keyboards of Greenslade and Lawson, also characterized by the absence of a guitarist. I also suggest you listen to (if you don’t already know them) the first of the legendary Colosseum, "Valentyne Suite," from which Greenslade and Reeves come.

I haven't listened to this one closely yet, but it didn't seem to be at the level of the first.

Thanks to everyone for the great advice. I have a strong feeling that by the end of my musical journey (if there ever is an end) Zappa will become one of the most important figures for me. I don’t have a preference for genres, but for example on Hot Rats I really loved the JazzRock of "The Gumbo Variations," which is also, in my opinion, the best track on the album. As I write, I'm listening to "Zappa in New York 1978" and... damn, it rocks; I've also listened a bit to "Freak Out," and even though it's particularly different from "Hot Rats," it’s very interesting and definitely worth more than one listen (The Return Of The Son Of Monster Magnet is truly out there). For contemplation: if "Joe's Garage" follows the same thread as Hot Rats and maybe even surpasses it, it will be one of my next listens. A bow to the genius!

I would like to start listening to him seriously, but I don't know where to begin. I only have "Hot Rats," which I consider a fantastic album, and that's enough to make me fall in love with the character. I realize that (almost) all of his works are at a high level, but which (in your opinion) are the albums that stand out the most in his vast discography?
