I haven't known Tim for very long; I met him through "Lorca," which drove me crazy (in the sense that I really went mad), then I listened to "Blue Afternoon" (still not very well), and in recent days, this (incredible, exceptional, superlative, phantasmagorical, masterpiece) "Starsailor." His voice in some parts gives me chills; as Ole says, it doesn't sound human at all (it seems to come from a distant galaxy). I will also listen to "Happy Sad"; for now, I consider this a tad superior to "Lorca," for now...

hahaha I misunderstood, yes indeed I kind of forgot about them a bit. And then I have to thank Dolphy for introducing me to the phenomenon of McCoy Tyner; his beautiful review of "Echoes Of A Friend" inspired me to explore his works. Thank you, Dolphy!!!

Let's say that I'm listening to her calmly and that I still have quite a bit of her stuff to catch up on. Anyway, "devastating" seems like the right term for her early albums from the '70s. Sorry, I just got up a little while ago (I collapsed this afternoon), but are you referring to her album "dElphi" or to Eric Dolphy? If you're talking about Eric, I didn't know they had worked together. (Or are you referring to the Polaretti? :))

Chick is a legend. 5 without ever having listened to him. I have his entire discography (including live performances, collaborations, and whatever else you can think of) that I listen to little by little, for now "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs" remains an unbeaten work. I also have a collaboration of his with (the incredible) Bobby McFerrin. By the way, when will we get a review of Bobby? (Deb's absence) maybe of his first album "The Voice". Who's volunteering among the various uxo, Contemplazione, and JakeChambers :)

Hash Jar Tempo? But do they have anything to do with Ash Ra Tempel? The review is beautifully laid back! :)
