rikii, have you ever listened to the songs of Rivoli?!

rikii, "Nothing Else Matters" sounds really good in my opinion, but at the beginning they act a bit like idiots, in the sense that they laugh and joke around in a very silly and absurd way, indeed. But that has nothing to do with how it’s played. On the other hand, "Fade to Black" is performed flawlessly and without any clowning around at the beginning. You really need to listen to this album.

Well... For me serious Death means Death, Bathory, Atheist, and all the first wave; this is not it, and I consider all Black to be crap. Alright, sorry for the digression on my musical tastes... Great review! :-)

For me, Metallica are still the best when it comes to acoustic thrash. I gave it a 2 mainly due to the poor choice of songs, but "Nothing Else Matters" and "Fade to Black" performed this way are two little gems. Do you really think that bands like Anthrax, Megadeth, or Slayer have more talent when playing without "amps cranked up behind"?? :)

Now you're really exaggerating with the 1s just out of spite against Metallica. Give it a 1 only if, like with Psycroptic, you've actually listened to this album.
