Billie Joe is not out of tune, absolutely. I'm not a die-hard Green Day fan, but you have to acknowledge his vocal skills, especially compared to the average punk rocker. And I heard that from a singing teacher, not some random idiot. Then again... tHrash isn’t trash, but that’s a lost cause.

Since I discovered that among emos it’s trendy to listen not to My Chemical Romance & co. but to bvoootal bands, bvootal no longer feels as brutal to me as it used to. It has turned into music for guys with bangs. Just kidding, of course, but you "brutallers" could "kindly explain to the emos that bvootal is not for guys with bangs but for real bvoooootal," right? :-)
