You're joking, right? TOM'S DINER is one of the most poetic pieces recorded in the '80s, and Vega's delicate voice in that track is so crystalline that even a slightly emphasized instrument would have ruined it. Despite everything, great review.

No... her name is really Marika... I also thought it was Mariko, since it's a common Japanese female name. Anyway, I think I read somewhere that she has a Japanese father and a European mother. In this case, it all makes sense.
