@Fede: you are confirming that you are a great catch, so Moratti might take advantage of that to snatch you away from Debaser...continuing with the silly jokes.

@Dlf: you’re absolutely right, this is definitely what makes the excuse not very useful XD. Anyway, the Pussycat Dolls videos are cute if you turn off the sound.

The excuse "come to my house and I'll show you my record collection!" never works.

Slightly less indulgent compared to the first ones, but still a Primus work, and the quality is always up to par.

Well, I too have a terrible relationship with cold Scandinavian bands, but the Swedish Prog'90 trio is truly the magnificent exception to that rule :P. It's absolutely reasonable to have a terrible relationship with these bands, but the term "cold" just doesn't fit :)

Fugazian screams on Husker Du structures make my eyes shine; I absolutely listen to them. As mentioned many times, I adore the development of a certain type of Punk (from SST in the late '80s and with the major Post-Hardcore bands), and even more, I appreciate what is TRUE Indie-Rock (the cover of this reviewed album looks like it was taken from one of the '90s Dinosaur records). @Geb: The labels associated with Indie Rock and EmoRock make me think of Van Pelt; stylistically, does this reviewed band resemble them?

One of the brightest meteors, Anglagard, 2 studio albums plus this live one, all perfect. In the studio, they certainly perform much better, but I still feel the need to give a 5, even if rounded up. Unlike the other studio albums from the not-so-many (but still very satisfying) 90s (speaking exclusively of Prog) that deserve the highest marks in my opinion.

These great bands, even on a metal level, manage to churn out truly beautiful acoustic stuff, I had no doubts in recommending them;); continuing the series of acoustic gems: "The White Ep" by Agalloch, which is very engaging, you might already be familiar with it.

@Fede: my first impressions were exactly like yours, even after the first 3-4 listens. I picked it up again recently after a while of not listening to it, and I changed my mind and decided to write the review. Anyway, it’s an album that has its flaws, yes, as I said it’s good, but no more than that, with beautiful atmospheres that make it an interesting work for my "strings." Thank you as always for your interest and for the comments to you and all the others who stopped by ;)

@Geb: yes, you're right to start with the classics from the '70s and then maybe if you like them, the ones I mentioned. To get a feel for the sounds I'm talking about, listen to this if you want:
