I listened to several things a while ago online about both with and without the s ending, both remarkable, I haven't listened to entire albums yet, so I guess I'll start with this one, great review as always. But look at that, it's as if there were Marco Carta and Marco Cartas.

Pleasant album, unlike the review.

Well, nobody said that the guitar isn't fundamental; the point is that "No presence of guitar = No Rock" isn't always true. Suicide, even though they simulate guitar with keyboards, don't use it and still make Rock. In the end, it's a very simplistic argument. Rock is "the guitar," without a doubt, especially if played by some bespectacled guy.

Well, if that's the case, even AC/DC ;)

Whether you like it or not, Prog is Rock; just look at ELP to understand that you can do Rock without a guitar (like it or not). These anti-prog discussions are pointless :P

Poor Rock, tied only to the guitar, how sad :(

I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that.
Explosions In The Sky The Rescue

It depends on the moment and the mood; sometimes I think I prefer this stereotypical Post-Rock, but direct and emotional, to the more experimental and creative stuff, and sometimes it's definitely the opposite. It all depends on my state of mind, in short. I've always liked Explosions, anyway, at the right time.

Beautiful record. Sometimes you can do quite well without a guitar; the important thing is that the keyboards don't miss.

Beautiful album, a gem in the Prog-Metal scene.
