Beautiful cover depicting the aquarium of the Mega Galactical Director Duke Count Balabam, with the employees swimming.

Pleasant.

I'm really enjoying this album, and while I appreciate the previous records, I definitely prefer this one with its cleaner style, along with "Crack The Skye" and this latest one.
Grobschnitt Ballermann
Voto:
The best work by Grobschnitt for me is the Live Solar Music from 1978, a notch above their studio albums, where their Space-Kraut-Prog finds its perfect form; the second disc of the album reviewed is instead the highlight of their discography, well done for bringing them back.

But is it really them in "Creature Lives"?!
Mastodon The Hunter

I'm starting to listen to it, the guitar intro of "Octopus Has No Friends," which then repeats throughout the track, vaguely reminds me of the keyboard progression in "Hoedown" by ELP; I haven't been the only one to notice it. The ingredients for a good album are there, that's enough for me, we'll see.
Pain Of Salvation Road Salt One

With the release of Part II approaching, I took a deeper listen to this one, and I must say it’s a really great album—such "soft" sounds throughout, but anything but trivial. I appreciate your enthusiasm for certain artists.
Pain Of Salvation Road Salt Two

I liked the first chapter; there will be time for that. As for the rest, I believe each album should be considered individually, without seeking comparisons with the band's past sound or future prospects while listening. As the insightful analysis of the review suggests, it might divide longtime fans, possibly, but those are just statistics. Ambitious or not, I think they are on the right track in my opinion.
Kasabian Velociraptor!

I will listen to this carefully, as it has been talked about discreetly and it seems interesting to hear something about it. I have only listened to them rarely; if I’m not mistaken, a track was on some PES.
