Great White Shot In The Dark
Voto:
Great review as usual (@Fede76: for this season we can already consider ourselves satisfied to have seen Juve lose so much ;) )
Algernon Ghost Survelliance

One of the various more or less "emerging" bands from Cuneiform that I haven't listened to yet, from what I read, contains all the genres I prefer :)
The For Carnation For Carnation

Beautiful review, magnificent album.
Eloy Power And The Passion
Voto:
I don't believe that the works of Eloy are devoid of "passion"; they are simply very derivative and offer sounds that have already been heard in their time. Their artistic value is poor compared to that of other contemporaries who are much more "important." However, in the end, it's just a matter of taste; I don't find anything wrong with those who tell me that Eloy are more engaging than cosmic music; I simply disagree :)

"Dawn" and "Ocean" are really well done, my favorite works of theirs; I appreciate the earlier ones a bit less, at times too derivative, but still valid.
Shining Blackjazz

Damn cases of homonymy! Frost with Frost*, these Shining, not to mention the "Faust"...

I still need to "assimilate" these Shining well; they are sounds that I usually don't enjoy much, but I recognize that the mix here is interesting and I might quite like this album in particular. At times, they remind me of Zorn's style in collaboration with Patton (which are the works I prefer from them lately).
Venegoni & Co Sarabanda

There’s black widow and alt-rock in Italy (no kidding!), anyway I admit I’m largely nostalgic; I prefer to spend 20 euros on a Can or Repertoire record rather than on a recent equally valid album :D

How much beautiful stuff there used to be in Italy, even now there’s still a little something, but certainly not like before.
Foreigner Foreigner

I was referring exclusively to hard rock, anyway, in '77 there’s a certain pink flag that opened up a new musical world for me :D
