Both with "Bad Habits" and with this one, they have returned tremendously inspired.

Among the groups I've listened to the most in recent years, "Black Sheep Boy" first and foremost, but also the other albums, particularly "Down The River Of Golden Dreams" and "The Stage Names," are filled with nothing short of memorable tracks, with magnificent lyrics by Will Sheff and magical backgrounds by J. Meiburg. Before this, I need to listen more closely to "I Am Very Far."

There’s nothing to add to what you’ve written; Scaletta and the Musicians say it all, in fact much more. In particular, I think that ā€œAlifibā€ and ā€œAlifeā€ are among the most intense moments in Music.

Great album, on par with "Moonhead," but above all, a great band.
California X California X

For a moment, it felt like I was in your review of the DTs of De-Casi :): "So let's see why the California X are not Dinosaur Jr: because Lemmy - Lemmy! - Gurtowsky is obviously not J Mascis." I just listened to "Spider X" and it's quite beautiful; I'm sure the rest I will listen to will be as well. Another band with similar stylistic coordinates, where J Mascis is present (in one track), is Dead Confederate in "Sugar," which you probably already know.

This review is splendid, one of the most beautiful, touching, and moving I have ever read, a review to be enjoyed with "Japanese To English" playing in the background.

Great solo album as well as a perfect soundtrack.
Camel Breathless

The review deserves 5 since you mentioned Mr. SydBarrett96, but not only that; regarding "Breathless," you said it all here: "So Breathless is a pop album? Yes, and it should be taken as such. As one of the most beautiful and refined pop-rock albums ever listened to."
