Then let me tell you: Tom "Warrior" Fisher, mind of the seminal Hellhammer and even more seminal Celtic Frost, has done it again (perhaps due to senile state), he has left Celtic Frost (effectively marking their end) and founded a new band called Triptykon, which has a logo designed in the same graphic layer as the CF, and according to Tom himself, "it will sound entirely like Celtic Frost, the debut album will contain the tracks that were meant to be the follow-up to Monotheist"!! So I ask, what the hell did you leave Celtic Frost for if you're going to create a clone band that will play material originally destined for the Celts themselves???? And here the circle closes and brings back the argument Pamparius made: out with the old (senile) folks and LET THE YOUNG ONES IN!!!!!!

But for Mastodon, I don't think we'll hear much before 2009. Blood Mountain is already perfect; I believe with their next work they'll leave everyone in the dust!!!! As for what Starblazer says, I can't help but agree with him; indeed, the only thrash band that isn't in the gutter is Testament, thanks to that consistency that has always characterized them. Megadeth is still in the gutter; their last albums are not qualitatively better than Cryptic Writings or The World Needs a Hero; they are just much more scheming. As for Slayer, they've been way past their prime for 10 years now; it's been since Diabolus that they haven't hit the mark. Regarding Metallica, I propose an initiative: if their new album is as bad as all the ones post-91, let's do a collection, go to San Francisco, and stone Ulrich!!! Haha!
