So, Mustaine's voice live is indistinguishable from that of a hysterical spinster, and Hetfield devours him both as a frontman and a singer. The claim that Slayer has declined live and that Araya's voice is "an unbearable yelp" seems far-fetched to me; this year at Gods they put on an amazing concert, the same goes for Testament, who are factually the greatest Thrash Metal band existing today, both discographically and live. And then to say that Metallica are half-assed? Come on… without them, none of the other mentioned bands would even exist. Let's think before we say nonsense.

very good review, I would have focused more on the musical content of the Down and Metallica concerts. the usual megastellar concert by Metallica, who still blow away many on stage. and now we just have to listen to Death Magnetic, which will contain, among other things, THE UNFORGIVEN III!!!!!!!!
