Black Sabbath Born In Hell
Voto:
I love Black Sabbath; I consider them the greatest band of the '70s. However, I must admit that the period with Gillian, who is definitely one of the greatest singers of all time if not the best, has never really captivated me. I think Born Again is a good album with beautiful tracks, my favorite being Disturbing the Priest. I might be a bit obsessive, but for me, the true and only Black Sabbath are the ones with the madman...

Well, let's say that Black Sabbath sparked the flame, but Judas Priest stoked the fire with Sad Wings of Destiny... not to mention other pioneers like Blue Öyster Cult, Uriah Heep, or Thin Lizzy, considering that some even include proto-metal bands like Blue Cheer or Molly Hatchet, but that would make for a lengthy discussion... and for me, the absolute masterpiece of Sabbath is Master of Reality!!

Aside from the fact that metal wasn't invented by Maiden but by Judas Priest!!!!!!! This clown isn't even funny, it really pissed me off that this year at Gods they took space away from INFERNAL POETRY to let this idiot make a fool of himself!!! I hope they burn him at the stake for heresy!!hahahaahhhahahaah

This album drives me crazy, it grabs me so much. It's obvious that we shouldn't have expected a new Focus, but something that adds to everything these musicians have done after the end of Cynic itself, and I’m talking about projects like Gordian Knot, Aghora, or Aeon Spoke. I don't give it a 5 just because the highest rating should only go to Focus!!!

What are you talking about? If anything, the decline of Black Sabbath, and by extension of Ozzy, happened after Ozzy left in '78. How can you say that albums like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath or Sabotage are the result of a guitarist in "decline"?! Do you have any idea what these albums represented for the entire history of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal???
